The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
A Dam Failure on the Kaukonahua Stream below Wahiawa Dam on...
The island of Oahu in Honolulu County

* Until 115 PM HST Saturday.

* At 105 PM HST, emergency management reported the imminent failure
of Wahiawa Dam.

HAZARD...Flash flooding from the imminent failure of Wahiawa
Dam.

SOURCE...Emergency management.

IMPACT...Flooding of areas downstream from the Wahiawa Dam
along the Kaukonahua Stream.

* The nearest downstream area from the dam is Waialua, Haleiwa, and
Kaukonahua Stream.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
Poamoho Stm- Dole Fields, Poamoho Stm- Kaukonahua Hwy, Kaukonahua
Stm- Schofield, Mohiakea Gul, Waialua Town, Kaukonahua Stm- N Fork
Wahiawa, Kaukonahua Stm- Wahiawa, Kiikii Stm- Waialua,
Helemano/Opaeula Stm- Haleiwa, Kaukonahua Stm- Waialua and Anahulu
R- Haleiwa.
Flooding is occurring along the Kaukonahua Stream.

This warning may need to be extended beyond 115 PM HST Saturday if
flooding persists.

Flash Flood Warning issued March 21 at 11:16AM HST until March 21 at 12:45PM HST by NWS Honolulu HI

FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 PM HST THIS AFTERNOON FOR THE ISLAND OF MOLOKAI IN MAUI COUNTY

Maui County, HI

At 1116 AM HST, rainfall has diminished in intensity over southeast
Molokai, though radar indicated continued showers falling at rates
of up to 1 inch per hour. Gages at Kawela Gulch and Halawa Stream
are showing a slow decline in water levels, but flash flooding is
likely continuing across portions of southeast Molokai.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads,
properties, and other low-lying areas. Public road
closures possible in some areas. Landslides are possible
in steep terrain.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Pukoo, Ualapue, Kamalo, Halawa Valley, Kawela and Kalaupapa
National Park.

Stay away from streams, rivers, drainage ditches, and culverts, even
if they are currently dry.

* Flash Flood Warning for...
The island of Lanai in Maui County

* Until 245 PM HST.

* At 1132 AM HST, radar indicated heavy showers and thunderstorms
moving moving over Lanai, with rain rates of of 1 to 3 inches per
hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads,
properties, and other low-lying areas. Public road
closures possible in some areas. Landslides are
possible in steep terrain.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Lanai City, Manele and Lanai Airport.
